Lorrie Rae “Lori” Hathaway, 74, of Ammon, Idaho, passed away July 30, 2024, at Promontory Point Rehab Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Lori was born September 7, 1949, to Walter E. Hathaway and Ellen Laura Staples Hathaway in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where she resided all her life.

She graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1967. She then married David John Kraykovic on July 13, 1968. Lori was later sealed to her family in the Idaho Falls Temple in 1991. She had four sons and one daughter with David. They divorced in 2003.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions over the years, including Cub Scout leader.

Lori struggled in her life with many health issues, but her faith in her Heavenly Father was unwavering. Over the years, she enjoyed many hobbies while raising her five children, including sewing, crafts, browsing antique stores, and keeping up with current politics, to which she had no problem voicing her beliefs.

She is survived by a sister, Nancy Henry; her children, Jeff (Jenny) Kraykovic of Boise, Idaho, Chad (Jesse) Kraykovic of Washington, Brett (Karen) Kraykovic of Idaho Falls, Cody (Kim) Kraykovic of Ammon, and Tia Kraykovic of Idaho Falls; 24 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and many Children of the Heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
