Lynne Denning Bryan
July 9th, 1948 - September 16th, 2024
Lynne Denning Bryan, 76, of Ammon, passed away unexpectedly on September 16, 2024, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center due to complications of many health struggles.
Lynne was born July 9, 1948, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Edward J. Denning Sr. and Edna Geddes Eames Denning. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. At a young age, hard work was instilled in her working many different jobs. Lynne earned money to pay her bills, help her parents, and save her money to buy her dream car, a 1968 green Chevy Camaro. She had such a kind heart, she would let her brothers drive her car to pick up dates.
On July 21, 1973, she married Rodney Noel Bryan in Ogden, Utah. Lynne and Rodney made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Lynne was a stay-at-home mom for many years before going to work at Martin Stationers.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Lynne was very involved with the Festival of Trees for many years and she looked forward to it every year. She enjoyed arts and crafts and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Family was so important to her. Lynne was very caring, kind, and compassionate, and would spend a lot of her time calling or reaching out to check on others. Lynne could easily make friends for life.
Lynne is survived by her husband of 51 years, Rodney Bryan of Ammon, ID; sons, Derrick Bryan of Idaho Falls, ID, Jeremy (Janice) Bryan of Idaho Falls, ID, and Cameron (Kimberly) Bryan of Ammon, ID; daughter, Holly (Ryan) Summers of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Ed Denning of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Mark (Connie) Denning of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Merri Mickulin of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Robyn (Craig) Hansen of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Jill (Kelly) Liljenquist of Scottsdale, AZ; brother, Scott (Karla) Denning of Rigby, ID; and 16 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Edna Denning, and brothers, Doug Denning and Richard Denning.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, with Bishop Bob Lamoreaux of the Ammon 8th Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:30-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services, both visitations at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
