Mary M. Hanson, 89, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 27, 2023.

Mary was born August 29, 1933, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Charles Denton Moulton and Jessie Arnold Moulton. She grew up and attended Cedar Point School in Thornton and graduated from Madison High School.

On May 21, 1952, she married Wallace Hanson in Idaho Falls in the Idaho Falls Temple. Mary and Wallace made their home in Rexburg where they raised their four children. Mary was a wonderful homemaker, and she also worked as a bank officer.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was very talented and enjoyed crocheting and needlework. She loved spending time reading, and doing jigsaw puzzles and crossword puzzles. She had a green thumb and maintained a lovely garden.

Mary is survived by her loving children, Karen (Mike) Fullmer of Idaho Falls, ID, Gail (David) Teerlink of Star, ID, Ronda (Douglas) Kingsford of Smithfield, UT, and Jeri (Casey) Hansen of Mesa, AZ; 21 grandchildren, 63 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Hanson, son, Larren Hanson, parents, sisters Nola Munns and Rhoda Bench, and brother Eldon Moulton.

The family will visit with friends Friday, April 7, 2023, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue.

A family service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the Lewisville Cemetery, followed by a luncheon in Idaho Falls.
