Nicholas Brent Southwick, 26, of Ammon, passed away June 3, 2024, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Nic was born May 3, 1998, in Kirksville, Missouri, to Boyd Kimball Southwick and Heidi Lynn Inama Southwick. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Hillcrest High School as a Valedictorian and Student Body President. He also attended BYU-I where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration. He was currently working at Family First Medical Center as the Human Resource Director, a job he adored.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and a returned missionary from the Provo, MTC Referral Center Mission. Nic loved sports and was an avid fan of the BYU Cougars. He loved anything Star Wars and his dog, Kiki. He especially loved his family and spending time with them.

Nic is survived by his parents; brother, Derek (Kaylea) Southwick of Muncie, IN; sister, Savannah (Hyrum) Baggett of Rexburg, ID; niece, Daisy Southwick; grandmother, Diane Inama; grandmother, Marilyn Southwick; and grandparents, Lynn and Karen Griggs.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Bob Inama and Neal Southwick.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the Long Cove Ward, 1925 East 49th South, with Bishop Tim Ross officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday, June 7, 2024, from 6:30-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m., both visitations at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
