Norman Albert Rhodehouse, 74, of Ammon, passed away August 12, 2024, at his home.

Norman was born October 28, 1949, in St. Anthony, Idaho, to Albert Gene Rhodehouse and Grace Marie Dixon Rhodehouse. He grew up and attended schools in St. Anthony and Inkom, Idaho. Norman went on to graduate from Pocatello High School. He also attended Idaho State University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering.

On September 29, 1972 , he married Shawna Lynn Jackson in Pocatello, Idaho. Norman and Shawna made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Norman worked as a Electronic Engineer at the INL.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attended Ammon 1st Ward. Norman enjoyed computers, 3D printing and woodworking.

Norman is survived by his daughter, Shilo (Kriston) Loree of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Christopher (Sara) Rhodehouse of Santa Clarita, CA; brother, Stan (Cathy) Rhodehouse of Inkom, ID; sister, Margo (Randy) Cannon of Downey, ID; sister, Evie (Rocky) Salvensen of Downey, ID; sister, Dawna Whitney of Mesquite, NV; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shawna Lynn Rhodehouse; and his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Ammon 1st Ward, 3000 Central Avenue, with Bishop Johnson officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 11-11:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
