Peggy Lee Hancock Cornwall, 72, of Bear River City, UT, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2025. Born March 13, 1953, to Verba Jensen and Irvin LeRoy Hancock of Menan, Idaho, she was one of nine children. Peggy’s life was defined by love, resilience, and service.

She attended Rigby High School in Rigby, Idaho. Following high school Peggy welcomed her first son, Nicholas Gregory Holbrook, with husband Gregory Holbrook. In 1976, she met her greatest love, James “Jim” Cornwall, they were married in 1977 and together they had three children, Joshua, Jamie and her heavenly baby boy Zachary, they were later divorced.

Though life’s paths brought challenges, Peggy’s unwavering love for her family remained constant. Peggy had a gift for making the world beautiful. Whether through her creative talents in decorating, cooking, quilting, or her genuine acts of service and kindness, all of which will be remembered by many. She brought warmth and care to everyone around her. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy. She cherished the sunshine, Bear Lake, her gardens, and shopping trips that reflected her zest for life.

A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Peggy found peace in her spiritual connection to Heavenly Father. Her light and love will forever inspire those who knew her.

She is survived by her children Nicholas Holbrook, Joshua Cornwall, Jamie (Garon) Stimpson all of Tremonton, UT; her seven grandchildren; her siblings, Marie Fredrickson, Rita (Bruce) Tingey, Gayle Powell, Dean (Barbara) Hancock, Carl (Joy) Hancock, and sister-in-law Darlene Hancock. She is reunited in eternity with her parents, Verba and Irvin Hancock, and her siblings Myron Hancock, Karen Meldrum, Connie McFarland, and many other beloved family members.

Services will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Noon with a viewing held prior from 10-11:30 A.M. at Rudd Funeral Home- Tremonton (111 N 100 E-Tremonton).
