Renee was born in Spokane, Washington on October 19, 1947. She grew up in Ephrata, Washington loving to read, swim, dance, study, water ski, going camping, and always busy in church activities.

In 1969, she attended BYU, later graduating in bacteriology. She then interned in the chemistry lab at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, for a year. She married David Doiron in 1970 and they moved to Crosswicks, New Jersey, where David was serving at an Air Force base. It was there that Renee picked up the hobbies of family history, spinning, weaving, ceramics, and outdoor survival skills – all that she shared with many people through the years.

They later moved to San Bernardino where their three daughters, Danielle, Desiree, and Denise, were born. They then moved to Tempe, Arizona, where Renee stayed active in raising her girls and providing many fun memories for them.

After her mother moved to “The Mansion House” in Ammon in 1980, she would bring the girls up every summer to get a taste of south Idaho living. She continued this even after her mother passed away in 1985, and in 2000 moved here permanently – loading all of the looms, spinning wheels, collected costumes, and fun games. She could finally spread out!

She worked as a receptionist for a local law office and kept busy in her LDS ward. Her favorite calling was teaching the Gospel Doctrine class. She had been a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints her entire life and had a great love for her Savior and studying the scriptures.

In 2020, realizing that she could no longer take care of her beloved home and herself, she moved to California to be with her daughter Danielle.

She spent Thanksgiving this year getting to be with all three of her girls, and then passed away peacefully on December 7th at 77 years old. She will be remembered as a wonderful daughter, sister, mother, and friend.
