Ron Keller, 74, passed away suddenly on November 4, 2024.

Ronald George Keller was born to George and Carolene Keller, February 16, 1950. He had three siblings, Doug, Sandy, and Teresa.

He attended Pocatello High School where he was an all-state athlete for both their wrestling and football teams. He later enrolled at Idaho State University where he majored in Accounting and was an offensive lineman for their football team. He was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity where he was nominated as Top Teke.

After graduation, Ron worked for The City of Pocatello Water Department. He later found work in the construction industry. He would go on to become the co-owner of three businesses, Intermountain Construction, Commercial General Construction, and Teton Prestress Concrete.

Whether it was the way his eyebrows wiggled in glee as he recounted his most recent delicious meal or the delight in his eyes when he watched his grandchildren open their birthday presents, Ron loved life and found joy in everyday pleasures.

Ron loved Hallmark movies. The sappier and more romantic, the better! He especially loved their Christmas movies. He would print out a list of each year’s movies every holiday season and would not be satisfied until he watched each one. He loved Hallmark movies so much he bought stock in the company.

Ron was a peacemaker. He would proudly state that he learned the most when talking with others who disagreed with him. He personified respect and love for all kinds of people.

Most of all, Ron loved his family and friends. He devoted all his time, efforts, and love for them.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Joe Keller.

He is survived by his son, Mark (Tawnya) Keller; daughter-in-law, Brooke Keller; mother of his children, Barbara (Carol Syminow) Keller; grandchildren, Brandon Keller, Alyssa Keller, Brooklyn Keller, Eliott Keller, and Charlie Keller; siblings, Doug (Marlene) Keller, Sandy Belvedere, and Teresa (John) Marconcini.

A service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave, Idaho Falls, with the family meeting with friends 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in the Teton-Newdale Cemetery.

Condolences may be sent online to the family at www.woodfuneralhome.com.
