Roxanne Lee Swofford
June 22nd, 1948 - March 20th, 2025
Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Roxanne Lee Hart Swofford, 76 Years, of Ammon, passed away March 20, 2025, at her home. She was under the care of Hands of Hope Hospice.
Roxanne was born June 22, 1948, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Leland Jay Hart and Wanda Moon Hart. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School.
On April 17, 1971, she married Rod Devoe Swofford in Elko, Nevada. Roxanne and Rod made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Roxanne worked as an office manager for the doctor’s office at the hospital.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed reading, music, and yard work.
Roxanne is survived by her husband, Rod Swofford of Ammon, ID; son, Jason (Jori) Swofford of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Tara (Greg) McMinn of Kenai, AK; brothers, Jerry (Dawnel) Wood of Ammon, ID, and Kim Hart of Iona, ID; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, LaMont Waid, Rod Waid, Greg Hart, and Scott Hart.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. A visitation for family and friends will be held from10-10:45 a.m. prior. Burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
