Shannon Marie Frazier

Shannon Marie Frazier, 64, of Rexburg, passed away on October 31, 2023 during a visit to Oklahoma surrounded by those she loved.

Shannon was born on November 18, 1958 in Southern California to Herman Eurich and Delores Reardon. She attended school in West Covina and graduated from West Covina High School.

Throughout her life, Shannon made many lasting friendships through her work within the Charter Oak School District in Covina, CA. Whether it was volunteering for the PTA, working the snack bar at baseball games, or cheering on her three children during their activities, everyone knew Shannon was there through her infectious laugh. Besides her friendships in the school district, Shannon also made many memories during working at Rainbird Sprinklers, Vons, and Stater Bros. She was a pillar in her community and became a friendly face that many people looked forward to seeing as they would visit the stores.

Shannon moved to Rexburg, ID in February 2019. Over the last few years she has been able to spend more time with her three children, seven grandchildren, and three honorary grandchildren. She gladly spent most of her time attending her grandchildren’s many sports, recitals, and activities. She was always their biggest fan. Shannon always made a point to attend her grandchildren’s baby blessings, baptisms, and primary programs in addition to all of the school activities and sports. Her grandchildren will cherish this time and these memories.

Shannon’s greatest loves in life were her children and grandchildren. She also loved growing up and going to the beach and dachshunds, especially her sweet dachshund Lily.

Shannon is preceded in death by her mother, Delores Reardon, and father, Herman Eurich. She is survived by her daughter, Janae (Branden) Smith of Rexburg, ID, Jeffrey (Kailey) Frazier of Edmond, OK, and Alyssa Frazier of Idaho Falls, ID.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 11:00 am, located at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1070 S. Second E. Rexburg, ID followed by a graveside service at Rexburg Cemetery.
