Sharon Simmons Gould, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend, passed away on December 27, 2024.

She was born on January 17, 1945 in Lorenzo, Idaho to Roy H. And Verda Simmons. She attended school in Annis, Twin Falls, Glens Ferry, Boise and Lewiston, Idaho while her dad worked construction building roads.

On April 15, 1960, Sharon married Max Gould. In 1961 they welcomed Julie into their family, and Darin in 1962. Charlette Glass, Sheri Davies and Dan Jensen, Sharon’s sister Ranae’s children, were a big part of her life. She had Sheri and Dan occasionally, and Charlette she pretty much raised. They were just like her own.

Sharon enjoyed the outdoors; gardening, camping, and riding 4-wheelers. Sharon was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

At 9 years old, Sharon started babysitting and picking potatoes out of the fields. Later in life, she became a Realtor. At the time of passing, Sharon lived in Chubbuck, Idaho.

Sharon is survived by Max Gould, Julie (Tom) Baker of Moody, ID; Darin (Alison) Gould of Teton, ID; 8 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren.

Sharon was proceeded in death by her parents Roy and Verda Simmons; her sister Ranae Kynaston; and her daughter-in-law Angela Gould.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2024 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg and on Friday, January 3, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. prior to service. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2024 at the Teton LDS Chapel 11:00 a.m.
