Sharon Lavon Holden, 64, passed away on October 14th 2021 at the Idaho Falls Community hospital, after a difficult battle with Covid 19.

Sharon was born June 7th 1957 to MarJean Lawrence and Francis Lamont Lawrence in Yuma, Arizona, who later divorced. MarJean married Dorsey Berry Martin. Dorsey adopted Sharon.

Sharon grew up In Pocatello, Idaho. She married Allan Chancy Smith, they had a child Joshua Quinn Smith. They later divorced. Sharon married Jerry Ray Holden. Jerry adopted Josh.

Sharon and Jerry were sealed for time and all eternity in the Idaho Falls temple.

Sharon and Jerry moved to Mackay, Idaho. Sharon loved hunting, fishing, and camping. She loved the outdoors. Sharon continued living in Mackay until she passed away.

Sharon was preceded in death by her mother MarJean Rudolph, her father Dorsey Berry Martin, her uncles Frank Eugene Stephensen, John Thomas Stephensen, her grand parents Margaret Bascom and Clifton Quinn Stephensen.

She is survived by her son Joshua Quinn (Camille) Holden of Idaho Falls, her grandchildren Kristopher Trey Marsh (Cortney), Macy Marie Myler, Koby Robert Myler (India), Sean Russell Holden, and Haili Jade Holden and great Grandson Ayden Wes, all of Idaho Falls, Idaho, her step brother Gary Martin of Kalispell, Montana, her step sister Diane (Bob) Simmons of Meridian, Idaho. Cousins John Thomas (Nancy) Stephensen of Ogden City, Utah, Kenneth Charles (Charlotte) of Brigham City, Utah, Jane Margaret (Patrick) Kukowski of St. Pierson Phoenix, Arizona, Wayne Clifton (Annie) Stephensen of Millville, Utah, Jay Frank (Brenda) Stephensen of Roy, Utah, Jean Crystal Stephensen of Orem, Utah, Boyd James (Alisha) Stephensen of Saratoga Springs, Utah, and Bonnie Darlene (Cody) Larsen of North Ogden, Utah.

Sharon’s family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, CNA’s, house keeping staff, etc. for the great care that they provided to Sharon, and how kind they were to her family.

Private family service will be held and announced at a later date. Services are being cared for by the Anderson Family Funeral Home.
