Steven Baker
January 15th, 1951 - January 5th, 2025
Steven Kermit Baker, 73, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 5, 2025, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was under the care of Aspen Hospice. Heaven gained an angel.
Steven was born January 15, 1951, in Tokyo, Japan, to Kermit Baker and Oma Creekman Baker. He grew up and attended schools in Fort Benning, Georgia and graduated from high school there.
On April 10, 1992, he married Holly Esther Burke in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Steven and Holly made their home in Idaho Falls, where Steven worked in the badging office at the INL.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters, playing games on the computer, and shopping. He loved spending time with his grandpaws: Dusty, Zoey, Buddy, and Sasha.
Steven is survived by his wife, Holly Esther Baker of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Misty (Dameon) Hansen of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Ben (Kera) Burke of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Joan (Ray) Scott of Richfield, ID; brother-in-law, Ken Frasier of Topeka, KS; and 5 granddaughters, Paisley, Avalon, Maisie, Tyla, and Teleigh.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kermit Baker; mother, Oma Baker; sister, Linda Frasier; and nephew, Kenny Frasier, Jr.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road.
Steven was a beloved father, husband, grandfather, brother, great grandpa, uncle, great uncle, and great-great uncle.
