Tamara “Tammie” Dawn (Pemberton) Harris passed away on June 14, 2022, while in hospice care due to complications from dementia and aphasia. She will be sorely missed by her family and anyone with which she had both a personal and professional relationship during her life.

Tammie was born to Billy Ray Pemberton and Ivaloo Thompson Sawyer on April 8, 1951, in Idaho Falls. She graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1969. She is the mother to four children. She pursued employment in insurance and then as a legal secretary and law office manager in the Idaho Falls area.

Tammie enjoyed rooting for her Green Bay Packers and making bets she was sure to win against Bears fans. She was an avid crocheter and was always willing to make the next baby blanket for an expecting mother. She very much enjoyed camping and fishing. That old raggedy fishing rod out-caught the best of us. Tammie spent many a summer’s day nursing her flowers, as her grandmother was so famous for when she was a child. She absolutely loved every moment spent with her grand-kids. Doorbell rings in their Halloween costumes, unwrapping presents on Christmas morning, or just the occasional visit.

Other than her kids, and their kids, and their kids; she loved so many of her friends. She had some wonderful friends, and the family would like you to know that we grieve for you as well. You were so important in her life, and she loved all of you.

Tammie was preceded in death by her mother and father, Ivaloo Hansen and Billy Ray Pemberton; her stepfather, Hartvey J. Hansen; her siblings, Wayne Sawyer Jr. and Judy Vey Sawyer.

She is survived by her brother, Thomas Sawyer; four children; Brandon (Tiffany) Eldredge, Jason Eldredge, Amanda Eldredge, Jaimie Harris; 10 grandchildren; 4 1/2 (l on-the-way) great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge. The family will visit with friends from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.

Condolences can be sent to the family at www.woodfuneralhome.com.
