Terri Lynn Cannon Larsen, age 69, passed away on October 8, 2023, at the home of Dr. Jay T and Sally Ellis in Ammon, Idaho.

She was born in Shelley, Idaho, to Leland Edward and Mabel Rose Eaton Cannon. Terri was the fourth daughter of four children.

Terri was preceded in death by her parents and previous spouse, Bob Baird.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Larsen, and her sisters, Judy (William “Bill”) Hampton, Nancy (Bruce) Bradley, and Sally (Jay) Ellis.

Terri graduated from Shelley High School in 1972. Mike and Terri were married on November 24, 1990. They fished the South Fork of the Snake River and enjoyed golfing.

Terri excelled in the health medical industry. Her first job was at the LDS Hospital on Memorial Drive in Idaho Falls, Idaho, with Bob Martin and John Melling. She also worked at Smith’s Automobile Company where she met Mike Larsen. She attended Eastern Idaho Technical College, receiving a degree in Office Management and Business. She later worked at Scientech. For 22 years, Terri worked for her brother-in-law, Dr. Jay T Ellis, at Ellis Physical Therapy as the Office Administrator/Medical Financial Controller.

She loved the outdoors, fishing, or riding to see Fall leaves and colors. Terri valued family gatherings and participated in Christmas Eve traditions, Easter picnic outings, and West Yellowstone National Park visits. She is remembered for her vocal talents, shared with her mother and sister as they sang harmoniously at funerals and church services.

She will be remembered for her tremendous strength and endurance, and has left a legacy of love and support for family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, in Ammon. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:30-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services, both visitations at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Taylor Cemetery.
