Terry Jean Lynn Belnap
April 24th, 1962 - October 11th, 2022
Terry Jean Lynn Belnap, 60, of Ammon, passed away on October 11, 2022, at her home. She was under the care of Eden Home Health and Hospice.
Terry was born April 24, 1962, in Missoula, MT to William and Kay Tyler Lynn. She grew up and attended schools in Missoula graduating from Hellgate High School in 1980. She attended Montana State University and the University of Montana, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts and Education.
On March 26, 1988, she married Larry Belnap in Missoula, MT.
Terry was a member of the Catholic church.
She taught school at A.H. Bush, Sunnyside, and Westside Elementary schools, and ended her career teaching elementary P.E. for Bonneville School District 93.
Terry was a member and a supporter of the Elks Club, member of the National Education Association, The Idaho Falls Education Association, and the Bonneville Education Association.
She enjoyed many outdoor activities, spending as much time as she could with her family, taking trips to the family cabin, tending to her flower gardens, playing cards, and board games, laughing, traveling, going to concerts, and teaching.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Belnap of Idaho Falls; daughter, Kelsey Belnap (Andrew Niebuhr) of Missoula, MT; sons: Jacob (Kaylina) Belnap of Missoula, MT, and Tyler (Tiffanie) Belnap of Idaho Falls; step-daughter, Jennifer Belnap of Spokane, WA; 2 grandchildren: Matt Belnap of Spokane, WA, and May Belnap of Missoula, MT; uncle, Roy (Mary) Lynn of Missoula, MT; aunt, Belva Jean Beagle of Missoula, MT; cousins: James Dell (Gail) Meuchel of Missoula, MT, Laurie Brady, Jessica Brady and Tanner Brady, Erica (Gage) Schofield, and Julia Wakefield of Missoula; cousins: Jessica Therriault, Chris Therriault, and Cadie Therriault of Phillipsburg, MT; cousins: Melissa, Rylan Oakland, Bridee Oakland, Ledger Oakland, Calibur Oakland and Ramzee Oakland of Missoula, MT.
