Tory A. Terry

Our beloved Tory A. Terry passed away on Monday, June 19th 2023.

Tory was born on September 16th 2000 in Rexburg, Idaho to the parents of Troy A Terry and Jessica Brown.

Our hearts are torn, knowing that Tory is no longer here with us earth-side, but has the heavenly opportunity to be with his family who are currently showing him the ropes.

Tory grew up in Rigby, ID and attended Rigby Jr. High and Rigby High School where he made many friends of which became family.

Tory was a fierce soul who loved everything about the outdoors from fishing, hunting, camping, go-karts when he was young as well as baseball, gaming on his x-box with his friends daily, was a big part of his life. Tory loved everyone with all of his heart soul and was a very caring person.

Tory made friends wherever he would go. He was someone that had a fierce but loving soul who was known for picking on every member of his family and his friends in his own unique way – a true jokester. His boisterous laugh could always be heard from room to room, living everyone who heard it. Tory had a large amount of close-knit friends, most of which became family, a group of troublemakers who were sweet as could be but did plenty of things their parents may not have approved of. Heise, Bone Road and 17-Mile Cave were just some of the places that Tory and his friends frequented.

Tory was preceded in death by his biological father, James “Jason” Bird, whom he will meet for the first time, his grandparents Lonnie and Peggie Brown, and his grandfather “Bear” Ronald Raymond.

He is survived by his parents, Troy Terry and Cassandra Terry, Jessica Brown and Steven Galasso; grandparents Wilford Jr. and Darla Terry, grandparents Joy and Steve Bird, grandmother Dana Stewart; grandparents Elizabeth and Stephen Galasso Sr.; siblings Austin Colby, Anthony Colby, Lakota Butikofer, Shirley Galasso (Adam Perseke and 3 children), Shasta Galasso, Samantha Galasso, and Preston Galasso, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral service for Tory will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Eckersell Funeral Home (101 W. Main St. Rigby ID 83442) with a viewing prior from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Celebration of life and Reception will directly follow the funeral at First Christian Church (1800 12th St Idaho Falls ID 83402) at 3:00 p.m. with food and a balloon release.
