Obituary
Treena Marie Erickson
December 2nd, 1962 - December 15th, 2024
Treena Marie Erickson, 62, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter passed away peacefully in her Lewisville home on Sunday night, December 15, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Treena was born December 2, 1962, to Max and Corene Taylor, in Rigby, Idaho, the youngest of four children. She spent her early years in the family home near Lorenzo, attended Rigby schools, and is a 1981 graduate of Rigby High School. Treena and John were married July 8, 1982, and spent their life together on the farm in Lewisville. Early in their marriage, Treena worked for Hansen Vision Care. Their first son, JT, was born in 1986, followed by his brother, Jordan, in 1988. John’s daughter, Vanessa, was welcomed into the family in 2019. The family was sealed for time and eternity in the Idaho Falls Temple.
Treena was a cheerful companion. She and John spent many hours together exploring on the Harley, fishing, camping, and competing in car shows. She loved her boys unconditionally, taught them by example, supported their dreams, and received their help graciously. She especially loved being “Grammy” to the littles and looked forward to their frequent visits.
Treena is survived by her husband, John H. Erickson; sons, JT (Amanda) and Jordan (Erin) of Lewisville; daughter, Vanessa (Jared) Neal, of Midway, Utah; grandchldren: Ethan, Emily, Elexa, Eli, Landon, Peyton, Addison, Grace, Sam, and Luke; her sister, Teresa (Dan) Cripe, of Boise, Idaho, and her brother, Reggie Taylor, of West Jordan, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Rodney.
