Trudy Ann Peterson Freeman
April 5th, 1961 - December 26th, 2024
Trudy Ann Peterson Freeman, 63, of Logan, UT, (formerly of St. Anthony, ID), passed away on December 26, 2024 from a sudden heart attack. Trudy was born on April 5, 1961, in Rexburg, ID. Her parents were Dyle B. and Ila Singleton Peterson of St. Anthony, ID. She was the youngest of eight children.
She attended Teton Elementary School and graduated from South Fremont High School in St. Anthony. She spent a year at both Ricks College and BYU-Hawaii. She served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Dearborn, Michigan.
On March 30, 1995, she was married to Brian Scott Freeman of Ririe, ID. They moved to Logan, UT, where Brian was employed by JB Swift & Co. Two boys, Keveren Scott, and Kendon Shawn, were born to them. Trudy enjoyed reading, and doing handwork and crafts.
She is survived by her husband, Brian, and her two sons, Keveren (Annie) Freeman of Cedar City, UT, and Kendon (Katelyn) Freeman of Pittsburg, PA. and her four grandchildren, Olivia, Kimberly, Jameson, and Grayson.
She is also survived by her seven siblings: Lynette (Lynn) Miles of Mesa, AZ; Sharol (Bill) Moore of Afton, WY; Renee (Ronald) Freeman of Twin Falls, ID; H. Ben (Joy) Peterson, Tad A. Peterson, Dena Jo (Earl) Mortensen, and Gwen (Bill) Hoffmann, all of St. Anthony, ID and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister-in-law, Susan Balam-Peterson.
Her funeral will be held at the Eckersell Mortuary Chapel on Friday, January, 3, 2025, at 12:30 pm. There will be a viewing for an hour before the service at the mortuary. Internment will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
