Tyler Jay Brewerton
May 24th, 1985 - February 4th, 2025
Tyler Jay Brewerton, 39, of Frisco, Texas, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on February 4, 2025, at Texas Health Frisco. Tyler was born on May 24, 1985, in Rexburg, Idaho.
As a youth, Tyler loved scouting and camping, and he had some terrific leaders who challenged and mentored him. From a young age, Tyler chased his dream of living life to the fullest. Tyler loved anything with wheels. In his youth, he loved bikes and skateboards, transitioning to motorcycles and fast cars as an adult. Ultimately, he lived for thrill and adrenaline!
In later years, Tyler worked hard so he could play hard. He chose a career in sales, and as a salesman, he was very charismatic, earning multiple awards and accolades. Several of his accolades were a result of how well his sales team performed. Tyler took pride in developing young salespeople and helping them grow into industry leaders. As a result, he earned many awards in life.
Tyler had a love for fast cars, particularly Porsches and Audis. He was a talented driver and loved driving with the Audi Club in Texas. He enjoyed the Audi Club social gatherings and drives, particularly the Twisted Sisters drive in Austin, Texas. At that event, he experienced many of his favorite things, including driving fast on tight corners, enjoying spectacular views, and meeting amazing people, many of whom became his best friends.
Tyler had many other passions, including cooking and enjoying great food. Particularly, he loved steaks, tacos, enchiladas, BLT sandwiches, and no-bake cookies. Tyler lived in the moment and always did what made him happy, from work to play. His witty and funny personality will be missed. Everyone loved to be around him, and you could talk to him for hours on end. His mother will sorely miss their regular conversations. Tyler loved his family and friends. He returned to Idaho regularly to spend time with loved ones and some of his other lifelong friends.
Before his sudden passing, Tyler’s financial situation was strained, and he was in the process of re-evaluating his career and how to move forward. Tyler had a very giving personality, so when presented with the opportunity to be an organ donor, there was no question that he would want to do it. The family is grateful to the Southwest Transplant Alliance for their gracious approach to the organ donation process.
Tyler was preceded in death by his father, Jay Ned Brewerton, and his grandparents, Denton and Vera Brewerton, and Lawrence and Clara Beesley. He is survived by his mother, Nancy J. Brewerton of Rexburg, Idaho; his sister, Candace (Darrell) Pinney, and their children (Jordan, Jacquelyn, Taylor, Ben, Zach, and Jake); and his brother, Brett (Laura) Brewerton, and their children (Ashlee, Jayden, and Dylan).
An open-house celebration of life in his honor will be held at the Parkside Townhomes Clubhouse, 895 Freedom Lane, Rexburg, Idaho, on March 8 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm.
