Wayne Edward Baker

Wayne Edward Baker, aged 59, passed away on December 3rd, 2024, in Shelley, Idaho, surrounded by his family. Born on February 18, 1965, Wayne spent most of his life in the same state, cherished by those around him for his kind-hearted nature and positive outlook on life.

Wayne graduated from Skyline High School, where he began forming lifelong friendships and initially discovered his diverse interests. Professionally, Wayne dedicated 32 years to Albertsons before spending his last four years at the Swan Valley General where he will always be remembered for his humor and compassion.

Wayne was a devoted husband to Beth Baker for 40 years and a loving father to his sons, Daniel (Josie) and Jacob (Aly). He was forever grateful to his Father Michael Baker Sr for his vast knowledge and wisdom. To his younger brothers Michael Baker Jr and Arthur Baker for their humor and to his sister Francine for her unconditional love.

His family was the cornerstone of his life, and his guidance and love shaped their lives profoundly.

His hobbies included fishing, coin and comic book collecting, and bow making. Wayne also had a passion for cooking, often delighting family and friends with his culinary creations.

Wayne was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia L. Baker. His memory will live on through his beloved family and all who knew him. He will forever be in our hearts.
